About Edson Healthcare
The Agency was founded by Suzanne Ibsen, a Chartered Physiotherapist who additionally holds a Diploma in Recruitment Practice and has run an introductory service for clients who wish to remain in their own homes for over 34 years.

Suzanne’s experience of the lack of choice available to her own maternal grandmother when she was diagnosed with Dementia some 40 years ago, set her on the path of identifying a better way for people to be supported which speaks to them and their lifestyle and respects their wishes and preferences.

Having been one of the earlier pioneers of live in care, Suzanne and the team have supported many people to remain in the community across the UK and have now built a large group of trained carers who are ready to provide high quality support wherever it is needed.
The knowledge and experience gained over 34 years has made us the company we are today where we understand that everyone is different and if something is important to our clients, then it is important to all of us too. We believe that all of our differences in life are to be respected and that is, after all, what makes the world go round!
Based in Salisbury, we introduce trained carers nationwide, many of whom have been with us for over 15 years and have a wide depth of experience.

Where carers are unable to provide verifiable evidence of current training, we are able to offer comprehensive training by qualified trainers through our sister company which is also able to offer annual training updates as required in order to meet Edson’s carer registration requirements.

In addition, all carers are required to have a clear DBS check from both the UK and their home country, if applicable and to carry current carer's liability insurance. All carers are fully referenced.
